Contact Lens 180 - Cleaning

For those that wear contact lenses, you have undoubtedly heard many times that you must to keep them clean when wearing them. This means cleaning them each day so that dust, bacteria, and other debris don't contaminate them. There are 2 types of contact lenses, those that can be used for a couple of months, and those that are disposable. Disposable contact lenses do not have to be cleaned. You put them in your eyes for a certain amount of time and then throw them away. For those who do not have disposable lenses, cleaning them each day is important.

When cleaning contact lenses, you will have to take them out of your eyes and wash them in a cleaning solution that you can purchase in most places. Most individuals clean their contact lenses at night time. Leaving contact lenses in overnight as this can cause irritation. Color contact lenses have to washed each day in order to prevent an eye infection.

For those that cannot remember to clean contact lenses every day, Contact Lens 180 says they should consider buying disposable lenses. These might be more expensive, but they will keep your eyes healthy.
